How do I borrow a calculator for the semester?

Where can I get a calculator? Are calculators still available for checkout? When can I borrow a calculator?

Answer

There are two types of calculators available for checkout through Cabrillo's services.

TI 84 Plus graphing calculators

  • Available to check out for free from the following locations:
    • Cabrillo College Library, building 1000 (Aptos campus), Hours
    • Watsonville Integrated Learning Center, room A210 (Watsonville campus), Hours
  • Calculators check out all semester and can be renewed as needed.
  • Calculators can be returned to either campus location, regardless of where they were checked out.
  • No appointments necessary, just ask for calculators at service desks during open hours.

Scientific calculators

  • Available to check out for free from the following location:
    • The HUB - Math Learning Center, building 1000 (Aptos campus), Hours
  • Calculators check out for 4 hours at a time from the MLC
  • Calculators must be returned to the MLC
  • No appointments necessary, just ask for them at the MLC
