How do I get an audio version of my textbook?

Answer

Alternate Textbook Formats

  • A student registered with the Accessibility Support Center (ASC) may be eligible to receive an accommodation for textbooks in an alternate format.
  • Examples of formats offered include electronic text, digital audio, and braille.
  • More information about formats and the request process is available on the ASC page for Alternate Media.

New Audio Option for EBSCOhost eBooks

Library textbooks in our "EBSCOhost eBooks" database now have a built-in text-to-speech/read aloud option! The speaker icon in the upper-right corner of the EBSCOhost eBook opens the text-to-speech/read aloud option. Click the "Listen" menu that opens for more options.

The text-to-speech icon looks like a speaker and is in the upper right corner. It opens a "listen" menu.
