How do I order books from the Bookstore? How do I get help from the Bookstore?

I need help with my bookstore account. I can't access the list of books I need for my classes. I'm a faculty member and I'm having trouble adopting instructional materials and textbooks.

Answer

The Cabrillo College Bookstore is fully online. Order your textbooks via this website: https://cabrillo.textbookx.com

Log in with your Cabrillo ID and password to see the list of courses for which you have registered. You can also look at the book lists for other classes without logging in.

If you are experiencing difficulty in accessing your Bookstore account:

  • For Students: If you have questions or encounter difficulties, assistance is available through the Online Bookstore help page. https://cabrillo.textbookx.com/help#/   There, you will find a live chat feature operational 24/7, ready to assist. For those who prefer a more direct approach, a phone number is also provided on the help page. There are also FAQs and videos about how to use the Online Bookstore website. Feel free to reach out if further assistance is needed.
  • For Faculty: Faculty members encountering any issues or adoption-related questions can email ADOPTIONS@VITALSOURCE.COM for dedicated assistance. This email address does not support student-facing operations. HELP@VITALSOURCE.COM can be used as a resource for faculty that may be experiencing login or technical issues.
  • For Both: Cabrillo College has a website covering the transition from our on-campus bookstore to the new online platform. Please visit this page for more information: https://www.cabrillo.edu/bookstore-faq/

The Cabrillo College Library is not the Bookstore. While we can help you with logging in and viewing the Bookstore website, we do not sell books, buy books back when you are done with them, or provide in-depth support on Bookstore accounts. Please use the Bookstore website Help pages for in-depth assistance.
